Lemon Mint Leaf

I am in love with Slatkin & Co. Lemon Mint Leaf candle right now. I recently purchased about 10 Slatkin & Co. candles on their 2 for $20 sale (you have to love those Bath & Body Works candle sales!) and have been burning them like crazy. Some are hits, and some are misses, but I have to say I am currently loving the heck out of Lemon Mint Leaf.

Lemon Mint Leaf is described as: bright and refreshing – lemon balm and green spearmint blend delightfully with fresh citrus and vetiver.  I would describe it as the perfect Spring scent.  It is light and refreshing with a little sweetness that is perfect for this time of year.  It reminds me of a sweet lemonade with a few sprigs of mint in it.  Clean and fruity and delicious!  I find it to be absolutely wonderful!

Yankee Lavender Vanilla

So in this video the host talks about what she has been currently burning and what she thinks about the scents. The first candle she reviews is a Yankee candle in Lavender Vanilla. I love the combination of lavender and vanilla; however, the host states the scent is quite light.

Yesterday I stopped in at my local Bath & Body Works for their 2 for $20 Slatkin & Co. Candle sale. I love the B&BW sales and refuse to pay full price for their candles. On this trip I picked up four new scents that I’m so excited about!

In this trip I picked up the following candles:

• Caribbean Escape – Indulge in a sweet, tropical blend of melon, raspberry nectar and Italian lemon, tempered with creamy coconut milk and raw sugarcane.  I love this one and saleslady said it smells amazing when burning!
• Lemon Mint Leaf – Bright and refreshing – lemon balm and green spearmint blend delightfully with fresh citrus and vetiver.  This smells perfect for Spring!  Light and refreshing and so bright.
• Mango Cilantro -A farm fresh creation with ripened mangos, crisp green cilantro and white nectarine.   It smells like a heavenly juicy peach!  I love it and can’t wait to burn this one
• Pineapple Punch – Beyond refreshing – a dazzling sweet mix of juicy mango, fresh pineapple and tropical grapefruit, infused with dark rum and sugared musk.  It is funny the bottom of the candle describes it completely differently, but this scent is sweet and heavenly!

Slatkin & Co. Candles

Candles By Victoria

Everyone is raving about Candles by Victoria on the web.  This candle company thrives on being very richly scented with a variety of scents such as “Elvis” (banana and chocolate), Cinnabon (fresh baked cinnamon rolls), Country Bumpkin (“like fall in a jar”) and so many more!

The sheer variety of the scents is what is so amazing to me!  I am dying to try some of these candles and burn them in my very own home.  In this video the host talks about some of her candle finds and what she thinks about them.

Slatkin & Co. Candle Reviews

This video features reviews of some wonderful Slatkin & Co. candles that are available for purchase at your nearest Bath & Body Works. Some are test scents and may not be available all over, but most of them are.

Here are some scents they review on this video:

• Mountain Leaves – not a favorite of the reviewer.  A bit too much like cologne; however, it sounds quite interesting to me!
• Lavender Caramel – test scent!  I’m not sure if this one went world wide or not, but it sounds quite different!  Unexpected blend of lavender, caramel and salt.  The reviewer also states there is a “hardcore sage” scent to it.  Too bizarre!
• Cranberry Cider – “forgettable” and not that interesting.  A true cranberry scent, lacking any cider notes however.
• Woodland Berry – a lot of wine and citrus notes.  A little spice, and a lot of grape notes.
• Acorn & Fig – apricot, juicy pear, fig and sandalwood.  A woodsy smell with hints of fig.
• Marshmallow Fireside – toasted marshmallows and sweet vanilla cream, with woodsy notes.  Sounds wonderful!

White Gardenia - New Spring Scent from Yankee Candle

Spring is right around the corner, and I cannot wait!  Bring on the melting of the snow, and the blooming of the flowers!  Of course with the arrival of the beautiful Spring season is the new Spring fragrances from Yankee candles!

I went on the Yankee candle site today and noticed eight new scents – Yes, EIGHT!  It is exciting and I will give you the description they have provided of the new scents:
